While two weeks of quality time with the little ones is a gift, we also know that keeping everyone entertained and well-fed can quickly become a bit of a balancing act: especially when you’re trying to keep an eye on the budget. That’s why, here at Governor's House Cafe & Deli, we’ve decided to do something special this year. We are absolutely thrilled to announce that during the Easter holidays, Kids Eat Free at Governor's House Cafe & Deli!
We know that the "cost of living" isn't just a headline; it’s something our local families feel every time they plan a day out. We wanted to make sure that a trip into town doesn’t have to be a major expense. By offering a free kid's meal with every adult lunch purchased, we’re hoping to make it that much easier for you to enjoy a freshly prepared, nutritious meal without worrying about the bill.

At Governor's House Cafe & Deli, we don’t believe "kid’s food" should be an afterthought. Our kitchen is always buzzing with the smell of freshly baked treats and locally sourced ingredients. When we say "freshly made," we mean it.
From our fabulous homemade sausage rolls: featuring golden, flaky pastry and perfectly seasoned filling: to our children orientated, healthy lunch options, there is something for even the pickiest of eaters.
While the kids enjoy their free meal, the grown-ups can tuck into our full menu of freshly made sandwiches with the highest quality ingredients and Hambleton Bakery Bread, our Posh Cheese on Toast is always a winner and don't forget we serve a Full English Breakfast ALL DAY LONG! We take our coffee very seriously too, providing that much-needed caffeine kick to help you navigate the holiday energy.

No Easter visit is complete without a little something sweet. Our display counters are currently brimming with homemade delights that are almost too pretty to eat (we said almost!). With all our cakes, traybakes, scones and quiches being made in house daily there is always plenty of choice for even the most pickiest of children.
